Inukshuk House was a deeply collaborative effort, shaped by the vision and craftsmanship of the client, who was involved in every design detail. Situated on a stunning sloped property, the design required careful excavation to accommodate the program while integrating seamlessly with the landscape. The process pushed us to explore new materials and engineering solutions, refining each element through close collaboration. The result is a home that balances technical ingenuity with a strong architectural presence—rooted in the land, tailored to the client’s hands-on approach, and built to celebrate both craft and place.

The design features a step-free layout for aging in place, seamless indoor-outdoor flow, and framed views that honor the surrounding landscape. Thoughtful proportions and intentional spatial planning create a serene, timeless retreat that embraces both the past and the possibilities of the future.
