The Bollinger ADU was designed to balance old and new—respecting the character of the existing farmhouse while introducing a modern aesthetic that reflects the owners' tastes. Working within a compact footprint and site constraints, we carefully considered scale, materials, and form to create a structure that feels both connected to its surroundings and distinctly contemporary. The design maximizes natural light and efficient spatial flow, ensuring the small footprint feels open and functional. Every detail was thoughtfully resolved, not just to meet practical needs but to enhance the property with a design that feels intentional, cohesive, and beautiful.
